Hairbrush time

Just one of the evening chores... and one of the nicest faces she came up with (she really doesn't enjoy this part). Dark time continues - we're having a very quiet evening and I'm thinking of my friends over the ocean, across the continent celebrating Halloween & having the trick or treat. Have fun!

There's been lots of coughing, running noses etc. here lately. Bit of a tired mid-term feel in the house. (Or is it just me?) Good things about today:
1) Sun.
2) Daughter A feeling a bit better after being down with a cold and cough for two three days. And they baked a cake at school today, yummy.
3) My youngest's expressions when discovering how letters turn to words that he's actually able to read.
