HOGITAT

Wet and cold today. I had very little inspiration to blip, so here is a poor image from the documentary series on building a hedgehog house! It was taken hurridly in the rain and semi-darkness. The full story can be found on my facebook page.

We are picking up a couple of re-homed hedgehogs from the Uists tomorrow (check out http://www.uhr.org.uk/ for more info) and I made them a home this afternoon. This is the entry tunnel, made of some bricks recylced from an old night storage heater. The 'house' was later covered with soil and sticks to keep it insulated and camouflaged. If I manage to get a shot of them before they ungratefully waddle off to take up residence in my neighbours garden, it might make it to tomorrow's blip.
