Her master's eyes

This is Guapa, a 4 year old chocolate Labrador and guide dog to our friend Rob, who is blind.

We were in Brussels this morning to bid goodbye to our friend John, who has played a very special part in our lives for the last 8 years. He died suddenly last week, just 61.

Despite Guapa getting a day off guide dog duty, she waited patiently by Rob's side as he spoke to friends after the funeral.

A roller coaster of a day, many moments of joy and sadness, cloaked by autumn's golden blanket. I'm all spent.
