Happy Halloween!

It's raining again today, poor trick-or-treaters. I huddled inside all morning aside from the trip to campus and back for class. Not really much Halloween in this photo, but there is lots of pie. Forgive me?

I spent the afternoon baking this pumpkin pie for movie night at my dear friends, complete with thrillers from my personal collection, nachos, pie, and maybe some mulled wine or cider.

Many of you may not know, but I use to be REALLY (really is an understatement) movie buff. Especially when it came to thrillers, I would rip them apart at the end, and I loved it. The critic has left me now, but I do enjoy a movie every now and then. In fact I own over 60 different movies... some of which I haven't seen yet. oops.

The titles of the night?
20 days later, 28 weeks later, the number 23, seven, fido, blindness, butterfly effect 1 & 2, gothika, donnie darko
we're not going to watch them all, but it's what we can choose from, a bit funny (fido), a bit zombie (28 days/weeks/fido), a bit weird (donnie), a bit of an epidemic (28days/weeks, the blindness), a bit of gore (almost all of them)

edit: i forgot to mention that that pie plate I use, was a wedding give to my Nanny, back in the day. Best. Pie. Plate. Ever.
