Dance of Death

I thought this was an appropriate Halloween image. It is from the Nuremberg Chronicle, published in 1493, which lives in the University Library's Special Collections. It was one of the first printed books to incorporate both illustrations and text (in Latin), and was a popular coffee table book in the late Middle Ages.
