Icing on the cake

The decorators were meant to start tonight at 4.30pm. At 4.25pm I get a phone call to say that they can't manage - one man off sick and the man himself has to go to his grandddaughters halloween show!
He is coming in tonight later to pick up a key to 'hopefully fit me in tomorrow during the day'. I've not got a good feeling about this........

It is the first time I have had to use a tradesman - as it was always Dad and I that did it together and then just me. This time it involves papering the bathroom ceiling and I draw the line at that one for safety reasons!

I am so pissed off and it just feels like one more thing that isn't going right. I came off the phone and threw a few things. To add insult to injusry I now I have to replace a few cups .

I know - ridiculous and a little thing blown out of proportion , but that's what it's all about just now.
