One of my little Pumpkins
Over the last few days, Imogen has seemed brighter and more alert. Think some of this is to do with the morphine, as she is now completely off it. Great news.
Her white blood count and neutrophils are on the up today as they were pretty static for a few days. All good news. We have also said goodbye to one of the patiennts today. Have never met her until today, but have chatted to her parents quite a bit. (They have come from IOW.) She got discharged straight out into the big wide world, without going back into Non Isolation. However they are staying in Bristol for a week as she has to come in as a day patient before she can go home fully. She just couldn't wait to go. It must be so hard for a teenager to go through this process. They should be going out with friends and having a good time. Still, her time will come and because of her experiences, she will just enjoy life even more.
Caitlin is staying with my parents in Cornwall this week, so looking forward to skype tonight to see her costume and pumpkin.
Bike News.
Did 3 km yesterday, and somehow put on 0.4 of a kilo. Did another 3 km this morning, and put on another 0.6 kilos. Who says excercise helps......?
Happy Halloween Blippers!
