Forest floor

I had an enjoyable long walk/climb in the New England National Park. All the wonderful growth was rather overwhelming and difficult to capture on the camera so I'm blipping a ground shot. The leaves are from Antartic Beech trees of which there were many, their knarled bark trunks festooned with mosses.
