We went to the Botanical Gardens, with me having no expectations but to take pictures of my kids throwing autumnal leaves at each other. Some beautiful flowers in the greenhouse which I nearly placed here, but I've decided to go for this portrait. He was feeding the squirrels, whose presence quickly got my daughter's attention. We had a long chat about their behaviour and abilities, whilst all the time my daughter got free peanuts to throw at the squirrels.

I'm not sure if this preference for photographing people to plants is a side effect of my contributing to blipfoto.
