Low Tide.

I had to go to Dunbar this morning, and I thought the harbour at low tide was quite photogenic.

The E510 is good at lots of things, but somehow I'm not completely convinced by some of the images I'm getting. I think I'm used to the heavily sanitised images from a compact that has a lot of software compensation for its limitations built in. The raw images just don't seem quite as "nice" somehow. I suspect the camera needs just a little more input from me that I've not figured out how to give it yet... Practise will doubtless make perfect!

Anyway, I'm fairly happy with the end result after messing with the levels a little.

Work, work, work now...
