Broken Switch

Well the fireplace heater has broken. In fact, it managed to break it's switch about 2 weeks outside warranty a couple of years ago. Essentially this is the heater of last resort - eg when temperatures drop a bit and it's good to have it working in time for December.

So after a little bit of digging around in the heater I found this switch. Quite continuity test and the switch is screwed, as expected. Local store doesn't have it - and I have to admit that I enjoy wandering round diy stores these days.

One of the jobs this week is to find a decent replacement for this switch.
