Trophies!

Well we won't be rushing out and buying a trophy cabinet just yet, although Tony does win us a lot of very useful mugs! It was the Fat Rascal Urban weekend this weekend which meant we were sprinting around Leeds University Campus yesterday and going at a slightly less frenetic rate around the longer courses in the market town of Skipton today. Why Fat Rascal? The weekend was named after the trademark buns sold in the famous Ilkley Cafe/Restaurant called Bettys. Anyway back to the orienteering! Today was also the final event in the Yorkshire Urban League in which Tony finished second overall in his class, and I finished third in mine! We are both Supervets these days!

ps I was rather disappointed not to get a Fat Rascal! Note to organiser for next year methinks.

pps the more observant of you will have spotted the club buff - I do have a drawerful of different buffs, bit of a buffer really. Also my very gorgeous orienteering earrings brought back from Sweden for me by pal/rival Linden, thankyou Linden
