Just popping round for a chat.

Nipped out at lunchtime today and imagine my surprise when I saw Alan Carr in Burradon.

He was there for the unveiling of the commemoration plaque of the 1860 mining disaster at Burradon Colliery.

He was up here in April of this year filming for the BBC's Who Do You Think You Are series and he had traced a couple of his relatives back who where killed in the disaster.

Other than that it has been pumpkin carving, getting ready for back to school tomorrow and all the other mundane things that get in the way of life.
