The Mad Hatter's Tea Party

We were at an Alice and Wonderland themed birthday party today. Fancy dress optional so the Halloween outfit Roo wore to her school disco got another outing.

Our friends had done a cracking job, giving their house and garden an Alice and Wonderland makeover and the birthday cake looked superb. This is my mate Fraser who took on the role of Mad Hatter for the day. His wife had drawn the pic of the Mad Hatter that you can see over his shoulder so I asked if he would pose beside it. The tea pouring was his idea! The tea party buffet was very tasty and the food didn't last long - especially as they all had little flags with 'Eat Me' on them - well, rude not to!

I did say to Fraser that I thought he might have been an even better subject for yesterday's reconstruction of Tintin!

London calling this week, hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour this weekend. I spent an hour wondering what to do with it! ;-)
