La vida de Annie

By Annie

Autumn colour...

...was what I had hoped to capture today, in a rare bit of sun. As I'm now once again reliant on lifts from family and friends I couldn't get to the park as I'd hoped, instead going on a wearysome shopping trip for a replacement domestic appliance which had reached its built-in lifespan, and groceries from a supermarket stuffed to the gills with screaming, darting kids hyper on a whole week's sugar and fast-food intake over half-term, now thankfully ending. At least someone here found a moment's respite from the mayhem; those starlings live in the trees by the supermaket carpark and are huge from consuming pasties, chips and crisps dropped by the punters. In fact they follow you to your car and look in your shopping as you load it, cheeky little buggers. Totally wrecked; time for a lie down now.

Autumn colour during the week, maybe.

Africa was a boring muddy brown today.
