The Plaza Cinema...

...used to seat around 400 people and on a Saturday afternoon, in the 40's, you could go for the tuppenny rush and get to see two films.
It is now a community centre and having recently undergone extensive refurbishment is available for hire and is the venue for Thrapston Plaza Opera established in 2010.
Great they kept the old facade.
