Bougainvillea Display

This is one of my favourite flowers. The variety of colours are so varied and gorgeous. This flower reminds me of two places. One being the last family home I lived in before I got married and the other is Mauritius. The best thing about them is that when they fall off the flowers dry out and are all crunchy like autumn leaves!

We woke up to no electricity after another big thunderstorm last night. It always makes me realise just how much we take for granted.

With there being no electricity we decided to go and have a Wimpy breakfast. The rest of the day was spent trying to keep cool as the heat wave continues. (Electricity was only restored around 2pm.)
