Spring in October

Can you believe it. my greengage "Warwickshire Drooper" is just coming out into blossom. I fear it is about to have a severe shock! All over the tree dormant buds are opening and by the end of next week I expect the tree will be in full blossom.
This is the first flower in full bloom, and i guess it won't be long before my bees will find it and be collecting pollen and nectar.
