Scary and Scared

We carved our Jack O'Lanterns tonight. When I was a kid, we always use to wait until the day of Halloween to do our carvings, but now, as adults, I think we're afraid that if we put it off, the task will end up not getting done. And what would Halloween be without a carved pumpkin head on the porch? Mark's is the larger scarier looking one on the left. Mine is the smaller, more worried, scared looking one on the right. We lit them up to see how they looked (and so I could take their pictures) but we won't light them again until it's time for the trick-or-treaters to come around tomorrow night.
