Snail War!

Out and about with the macro lens, in the garden. Discovered all these small young snails everywhere. So instead of presenting you with one, I thought there was a snail story here, featuring Sammy the Snail and Harry the Housebearer.

Sammy was a determined fellow. No-one, not even the older (by two days) and bigger Harry would stop him. Harry did not like the small snails however: they seemed to be more disrespectful and rude to the older genereation every time he encountered one. So he decided, not this time. He would show the young Sammy to show him some respect, and blocked his way. This was his branch, the branch with the best and juiciest leaves. You can imagine his surprise -and building anger- when he noticed Sammy just did not show any sign of slowing down. Was he really going to go straight over him?! And so it happened. Harry was speechless - the snail world would never be the same again for him after this day...
