First day of winter!

I usually have a 'head-down-just-get-through-it' approach to winter. I hate the cold, wet, and dark to such an extent that for most of my 20's I spent the winter months in hot countries, only daring to return when spring was on the cards!

However, much as there is little appeal for me in the inevitably pending weather, if this year has taught me anything, it's to take one day at a time.

And if blip has taught me anything, it's to see the beauty in the ordinary of the everyday.

So, hats, boots and scarf on, and out into the blipping winter!
