Virginia Creeper

Displaying its autumn colours, this Virginia Creeper covers much of the shelter over our hotel's outdoor dining and relaxing area. Here one can sit and take breakfast in the cool before the oppresive heat of the day.

At this time of the year it is cooler anyway. However Clare and I have been out and about with short sleeved summer shirts and blouses enjoying the warmth. It is interesting for us to see the locals wrapped up in thick jumpers, coats and scarves.
