today's project

i bought this onyx agate stone today when i visited a local bead shop. let's just say i'll be going back again in a couple days when i get more money in. :D lots and lots of pretty stuff there. I've completed 2 pendants this evening. one before we lost power, and one after.

this stone is actually more rainbow colored in person, and translucent in spots as well. i used gold plated and copper wire for the wrappings.

I'm currently online via phone tether. my phone doesn't like androblip so i'm killing my netbook battery just so i can blip. mind you i tried for a couple hours to blip from my phone..not straight..but about every 20mins or so.

Here in NH we're in the middle of #snowtober - the "storm of the century" not because we've never gotten nor'easters here, but it's the first one in a century to hit in october. the last recorded blizzard to hit new england like this was during the civil war.

thankfully we've got some wood and some of those 2hr logs, we'll be ok ..i think .. until the sun comes up. i hope the power comes back soon.. i REALLY hate the cold. even more so when there's no firewood.
it's currently 32*f and snowing like crazy.. and another sweep of the snowplow just went by. this weather stinks!
