Happy Birthday Claire.....

.....even though it's not actually your birthday yet ;)

Today at work we had a mini celebration for Claire who turns 30 next week Friday. A basket filled with a pair of gardening gloves, fancy cheese, an awesome book of music posters by Jason Munn and some sweet treats from Carluccio's were handed over as half of the office sang out happy birthday.

What more could a girl want?

Well, she might want a yummy lemon drizzle cake?
And that's what she got!!!

Although at one point it didn't feel like the gift giving was going to take place......At 9:30am I was frantically running around trying to find the missing birthday card and Katie was cycling back home again having left the cake behind! (haha)

But luckily it all came together.
Katie unvealed her cake and I helped decorate it.....and it was good! Really good!

It oficially received nil points for beauty but 100 points for tastiness.....and in my book, that's what makes a cake ;)
