Vegetarian Backgammon

Actually the word has nothing to do with pigs - the gammon comes from the old English gamen, to play.

TSM and I sat down tonight to teach ourselves how to play using instructional videos on YouTube. After the fifth of nine I was getting ready to shoot myself, so charismatic was the presenter. But we did persevere and played our first game.

Otherwise today was taken up with visiting aged P and shopping in Waitrose. And driving. A lot of driving. Very tiring. Think I'll need the extra hour's sleep tonight...
