Tamina Gorge
Sorry spent ages typing this then the site went down.
This was our last day at bad Ragaz before heading to Zurich for our city holiday. A beautiful , bright vlear day so we we headed up the Tamina Gorge a total of 12 kilometres. there and back. WE could have got a bus but we enjoy walking at home . A wise decision as we were rewarded by beautiful senery all the way thernd back, rounding hairpin bends with wonderful views over the tops of the conifers.
At the thermal spa we were glad to find the restuarant for a very well desreved lunch after which we meandered around the museum , yet another treat with so much to see.
Off course you simply can't go all the way there without visiting the thrmal spa inside the mountain. No one warned us that we would be thoroughly soaked by water cascading down the inside of the mountaimn , our jackets kept us dry but our trousers were absolutely sodden. Just as well it was warm inside the mountain and it was so spectacular we really din't mind about the wet. The walk back down in the sunshine dried us off by the time we reached our hotel.
Definitely a wonderful way to finish off our last day on the Swiss border. So many blips but decided to upload one of the waterfall images.
