Medinilla Magnifica

well we were out at my mothers to day for lunch and to wish here a very happy 84th birthday so we took here up to Dobbies garden centre in Milngave/Bearsden for a spot of lunch and a walk round their christmas decorations , while going round the plant section I came acrross this strange looking plant on enquiring about the plant as there was no tag to it ( not very good as a sales pitch ) I was told it was called Medinilla Magnifica a sub tropical plant one of its common names is tropical rose grape.Its flowers are not the pink leaves but the funny looking berries below.
