Stars are apparent once again, the clocks will change, log fires will have to burn, and the amenity bills will fall like dead weights through the letter boxes. Fireworks will flash and lighten the skies, shops will be filled with lit-up trees, Father Christmas's and all the wares of the materialism that is Christmas now.

Roll on Spring. (mm, a spring-roll would be nice too)
