Steamy!

As mentioned last weekend, I was going to try and get this thing going.

After a trip to the outdoorsy shop for a packet of hexamine tablets (sounds like some drug) I was all set to go.

It sort of worked. A lot of steam and hot dribble, but not quite enough power to turn the wheels. So off with the springy band that linked the piston to the wheels and watched the little piston strut it's stuff for for a bit.

Got a burnt finger in the process, but all good fun.
Oh, and the sticker on the side didn't take well to the heat as you can see from last week's entry.
