Start of the DDW11

The Dutch Design Week has kicked off this weekend. Today it starts for me, I will be working in the product design event 'Innovation within a week'. The company "Ministerie van Nieuwe Dingen" organized this event and invited me and 7 other designers to start out with a patented technology and finish the week with an interesting product.

I teamed up with Janne and we will work on the technology from Holst Centre: the ECG Necklace. With the essence of that technology we are asked to design a product for the target group of young elderly people in the Netherlands (60-75 years old). We will work daily at Mazars' office at Flight Forum close to Eindhoven Airport.

The evening, after dinner at the headquarters of the MvnD (www.mvnd.nl), we all went to the GasLAB at the University campus to witness the very first broadcast of DDDWDD. It was great fun.
