Spider Plant

I promised someone some baby spider plants in April. My plant flourished all summer but no babies.

Now at last the flower spikes that will carry the new plantlets have appeared - often un-noticed the flowers are beautiful.
I kept waiting for better light but the fragile short lived flower is already fading.
