Back to School Haircuts

Decided to give them all a trim ready for school on Monday!! I am subjecting them to the same thing I went through when I was young; mum haircuts. Mind you, I do give them the option of the hairdresser and they say no!
I secretly enjoy cutting hair even though I am no hairdresser. I started cutting my husbands hair when we were poor student flatmates in Edinburgh! Ah the memories! I still cut it to this day!
Anyway, I wonder whether they will look back with mild horror like I do at those '70s school photos and say "What were you thinking mum?" Most likely.
