Free Libraries!

Today I spent three and a half hours standing outside Wellington central public library trying to persuade people that introducing legislation ensuring free public library services would be a good thing.

If I'm able to croak more than a few words tomorrow morning I'll be surprised.

The reactions from the public were mostly positive, no doubt influenced by news of cuts and fees recently proposed in Hamilton.
