Dirt fight
Not purporting to be any great gardener (this is the beautiful lemon tree in our garden, no signs of life), but when I stepped out of my office which overlooks this patio after getting ready to post a Blip of the boys jumping down the stairs earlier, this is exactly what I saw, happening to have the camera in hand as I'd wanted to see what all the (dirty) laughter was all about.
The dirt was actually on account of the dirt fight the boys were laughing their socks at. I'll have to save those images for the blog.
They've really been entertaining themselves this afternoon which has been a blessing.
Thanks friends at UCLA school for making it a fun and chatty morning and I'm so glad we have those pics of us all today. You know how much I'm going to be missing you after next week's graduation.
So touching this morning in the school toilet with Callum. He read one friend's name on the diaper boxes and, congratulating him, he went on to (sight) read the next 12 names of his friends from their name cards. Yes! I'm impressed. At circle time, each of the kids are given their name card which they proudly take back to their parent, we sing their welcome song and then they will make a choice from two songs to sing so they're getting the visual and auditory clues each day of names. I was just surprised that Callum knew his friends' names from their cubby hole photo with name cards, but the diaper cards don't have their photos.
Meanwhile, I have to thank Jenn for stepping out and helping me in a big way these last couple of days. Thank you...
