In his element

Another day, another museum. We went to the Leeds Royal Armoury today. I have to say this is a fantastic free attraction, that I would highly recommend to any family with boys.

Will was totally in his element. He worryingly loves anything to do with army or weapons and could name most of the guns on sight. He loved every minute of it and bought himself a toy hand grenade with sound effects that he can't stop playing with.

Did a little bit of shopping in Leeds which we will definitely be revisiting without a child in tow. Then off too see Sylvia and Derek again for dinner. The journey home was a nightmare with random roads closed off and no diversions to follow. It took 1 3/4 hours to get back on dark roads and boy racers up my backside all the way back.

Back home tomorrow. I'm looking forward to my home comforts now.
