Time to Go

A busy day with Talyllyn Tracksiders, the family working group. Tracksiders work along the line, cleaning, tidying, mending, painting. Parents and children work together in small groups. Great fun is had by all, especially when the sun shines.

Today was the last Tracksiders day of the year, culminating in the Great Feast. In the past this was preceded by the Annual Quidditch Match but after 'Dads with Beards' vs 'Mums with Attitude' ended in a bloodbath mudbath last year it has been replaced by a Children's Treasure Hunt!

Here we are waiting for the fun to begin, watching the afternoon train depart with typically warm attention from the volunteer station master :-)
