Blackpool Illuminations

After a morning of waiting for deliveries, sorting cars and generally catching up we drove over to Blackpool to see an exhibition of the history of the town in photographs at the Grundy gallery. Quite evocative and nicely displayed, I expected to see my mum and dad caught in the 1940s walking along the Prom. A drive through the illuminations for fish and chips at the south shore finished off the day nicely. This is Blackpool on a Friday night!
