Jesus Path

One of the last time I went to Farncombe, that time by bike, someone threw some mud at me from a car (yes it was definitely mud). Today I walked there on a path where I saw this on someones fence.

I got there and back without problem this time, as though I had chosen the right, mudless path, though there were quite a few flies.

Is it sign or just a postcard?
