Dawn on the A9

I had to leave Edinburgh very early this morning in order to speak at a National Park Outdoor Education Conference at Glenmore Lodge near Aviemore.

This golden light - a late autumn sunrise - on the hills just south of Kingussie caught my eye when we stopped for a moment. And it was golden.....
