And You Think You've Got It Tough!
A sight to break the heart of any normal person, even more so when you consider just how unphased everyone around the kid is.
People, I guess, have to harden themselves against the shame of having little kids on the street w/no chance of getting out of the situation in which they find themselves.
The problem of poverty has been around so long here and with no quick, easy or imminent solution, people here tend to be much more accepting of this than we would be back at home.
Life for so many Mexicans is really, really tough. The world's richest man may be Mexican, yet still so many people still eke out a fairly dire living from any means they can.
This is normal life here in Mexico, you see it everywhere you turn and as I have said before, it's amazing how you quickly you adjust (desensitise?) to this normality when living here.
