Aviemore Station

Aviemore Station, opened in 1898 and largely unchanged. Now serviced by diesel Scotrail trains, although the journey time to Edinburgh isn't much different to the age of steam. Strathspey Railway, run by volunteers, runs stream trains from the third platform to Broomhill.
