Tough choice Tui

TeeJay and I went to one of our usual haunts today for tea and a Tui :-) He duly obliged but with a rare appearance on the ground. This is the first time I have ever seen a Tui on the ground rather than in a tree.
We then headed up to virgin territory for us. A relatively ( a year!) opened walkway along the Matakitaki river. Definitely going to appear in our blips a lot me thinks! Took some lovely shots of marigolds and various other flowers with the macro lens, which I really liked, but ultimately the colour and detail on the Tui won out
