Red Rock National Preserve

Dave went over to Emmett's and Jen's to reinstall the dog door. The big dog wouldn't fit. Steve and I played Carcassonne while we waited. Around noon Dave picked us all up and we visited with Emmett, Jennifer, Sunny and of course, Bailey. And the dogs, all three of them were there too. Dave finished the dog door and added a cat door to the garage before we four headed out to our last park, Red Rock, very near Las Vegas.

We had quite an adventurous day there. After looking at amazing rocks we took a 4X4 road up out of the park. We went quite a ways and things were looking good until... we got stuck. It took some brute strength and ingenuity to unstick the car and get us back down the canyon. All of us helped, Dave driving and the rest pushing to get the car out. Lucky we made it and happy because it felt like an adventure and not a problem.
