Spinning Whirlwinds, Spinning Worlds

Dear Heart,
I swam 50 lengths today. Perhaps that is no great feat at all, but for a girl who didn't so much as dip a toe in a swimming pool in over 5 years, I am terribly proud of myself.
We were talking last night in CU about engaging with the world around us; about all that He has made. We are, after all, physical creatures. Souls with bodies. I am beginning to believe again that He is smiling at me with pride when I step out, when I am brave. And yes, daring to don a one-piece in a public place is my idea of true courage.
Other than that I have barely left my room today. I returned from the swimming pool with sodden boots, and didn't dare go out again! Here is a picture of me making whirlwinds in my red skirt, spinning round and round.
