A smashing day

Well, what can I say about today? It's been pretty boring quiet, we haven't really done much apart from a bit of school homework.

The builders have been busy though. We had to go up and decide where we want plug sockets and light switches to go, the builders had a good laugh at me as my legs are slightly too short to get in through the window frame gracefully!

A skip arrived this afternoon and all we heard for most of the afternoon was the smashing and breaking of roof tiles falling into it. There are a couple of builders up the road working on a neighbours house and the cheeky buggers knocked about the tiles for hardcore. I didn't mind this but then the cheeky wotnots, with their full skip, asked if they could but some stuff in ours! I don't know how it was agreed but we ended up with windows in our skip, but I thought it made for an interesting picture (hence the blip photo). I have a feeling tomorrow will be more breaking tiles but it looks like it's going to be dry and I'm desperate to get out with the kids and my camera and take pictures of the gorgeous autumn colours. So we shall see...
