Hello again!

It's been over two months since my last blip entry. This is, mostly, because we moved house at the end of August and only just got a broadband connection yesterday. It's also partly because I didn't have the patience to wait for uploads over the on/off dongle connection, and partly because I couldn't get my phone app to work for some reason (perhaps because the mobile signal here is only marginally better than on the farm?)

Anyway, we are now settled into our new village location. It's different having neighbours and streetlights and being within walking distance of shops, pubs and suchlike. It's still very much the countryside, but compared to where we were, it's like a metropolis!

I hope to upload some photos taken in the past couple of months. I haven't taken a photo a day, but have quite a few 'backblips' to put together, to help us remember the story since August.

Today we had a lovely day out, the first we have managed in far too long because of the upheaval. The four of us went to see my sister in Durham and then all went to the coast at Seaham. It was a bit grey and damp out, but it was lovely to be out in the fresh air. We also had a delicious fish 'n' chip shop lunch and pottered around a few shops together.
