Mess. Mess. Mess.
One last (I pray) blip of the mess. I am reeelly fed up with it now, though I know saying so makes me sound like a total princess.
Notice the fruit bowl on the floor. Alongside the wine. Next to the bread maker. By the blender. In front of the dolls house. Which is in front of the toy sword. And on top sits the Easter crown Al made in Nursery, and wore for every Easter parade for four years because he had absolutely no interest whatsoever in making another one - or indeed that one. Thankfully they don't expect them to have an Easter Parade in Year 3, as even by last year it was looking, as my mother would say, 'like a pimple on a piecrust', and is thick with dust.
We went to Ikea today, buying stuff for Betsy's room. I think it's going to look great when it's done. We'll be DIYing all weekend, putting up shelves, blinds, putting flatpack together and hauling this stuff all back to it's proper places. I hate mess and love organising things so I look forward to it!
