Flipsflops in a vice

Now to some people this might appear strange.

It appears to be a pair of flipflops, between two bits of wood and a gclamp holding it all together. And you wouldn't be wrong.

Problem is that my expensive ($7) flipflops are falling apart. This is not good. They are only 4 months old, and have only been worn every day, gone around Europe several times this year, and done their fair share of some miles.

But they are coming unglued. A more sensible person might bin them, but not me. Nope, bit of gorilla glue, and I'll have these back together in no time at all.
