June is bursting out all over.
The day started very dull and humid but no rain and by 12 noon the sun was out and the temperature was back up around 18/19C.
Before it got too hot I managed to re-pot the aubergines which are just about to flower. At this rate the first fruit should start to appear at the end of next month and continue until the beginning of October.
I've also discovered that the home made compost isn't sterile which means that the beds are now erupting will all sorts of rogue plants. So far were having a bumper crop of tomato seedlings, closely followed by scattering of lettuce and the occasional squash.
So they were all weeded out.
It's supposed to rain tomorrow - we'll see.
