Blackford Hill
Spent all day at kings, having lectures about the upcoming 2 day fieldtrip for Stratigraphy and Sedimentology this weekend. Also got the mapping exercise from a few weeks back; got a 2:1 but was very annoyed to see that I missed some very easy marks!! Ah well.
After the tutorial had a cycle up the Observatory hill and had a look at the views. Was really amazing light - amazing clouds, with a haze, yet really clear. The trees are turning too, making the amazing golden colour from the setting sun even stronger. Was so nice I sat and stared at it for 10 minutes or so :)
Sean's just cooking an amazing Scottish feast of haggis wrapped in chicken wrapped in Bacon with roast veg, roast chestnuts and tatties. S'gonna be good :D
